Munn to Coach at the Falcons

The Wyndhamvale Football Club is please to announce the appointment of Rick Munn as Under 19 Coach for Season 2018.

Rick's coaching career began in 2009 at Sunshine Heights Football Club where he took on the role of Reserves Coach while recovering from a knee reconstruction.

After making a full recovery from the knee surgery, he moved to the North Footscray Football Club in 2010 and became a premiership player in the same year.

From tasting premiership success, Rick moved to the Point Cook Football Club where he was a playing Senior Assistant Coach in the VAFA from 2011 - 2013, and helped to take the team to finals in 2 out of the 3 years.

He then returned back to the Sunshine Heights Football Club to take on the role of Senior Coach for their Division 2 side in Season 2014.

In 2015 the point Cook Football Club utilised has skills as a playing Senior Assistant Coach in the VAFA where he looked after their forward setup, and helped the team make finals.

Rick hung up his boots in 2016 and retired from playing, taking a year off from footy altogether to pursue some study.

He then returned to the coaching ranks in 2017 as Bench Coach for the Werribee Football Club's VFL Development Team.
